Slow Cooker Moonshine soft drink

This is the main installment of alcohol recipes each month. Even though I call them "booze", they are actually mixed cocktails based on Everclear ethyl alcohol or vodka. The word moonshine simply indicates that the drink may be a very strong alcoholic beverage. The alcohol itself takes on the flavor of the opposite ingredient which masks the actual alcohol content.

With all that said, let's have our first drink of the year. Crock-Pot Moonshine soft drink !!!

Several years ago, I was introduced to soft drink beer. Namely, a soft drink-flavored beer that accentuates the sweetness of my favorite soda. Why not make an alcoholic soft drink that has all the flavors and flavors associated with my favorite soda and beer?

I used Hires big H soft drink Extract to make this recipe. I do need to order this product from Amazon but I believe you should be prepared to find the same product at the grocery store or even the grocery store.

Add water, white sugar, sugar and pure vanilla to the slow cooker. Heat the liquid on HIGH mode for two hours. You want the sugar mixed with the liquid so that it doesn't get gritty anymore. cover the slow cooker and add the soft drink extract and mix well. Let the liquid cool completely then add it to Everclear's ethyl alcohol (or vodka).

Now, this recipe involves 1 Liter of Everclear ethyl alcohol. However, you will decide what proportion of alcohol you want during this drink. Using vodka will either lower the percentage of alcohol in the drink or use half a bottle instead of a full bottle of Everclear (or even vodka). You will not reduce the taste of the drink by adding less alcohol.

This recipe makes nearly 4 liters of Crock-Pot Moonshine soft drink. Add lids and rings to jars and store in a cool dry place for at least seven days before you drink them. After all, you will keep it almost forever. The longer you keep it, the more alcohol it compensates for the flavor of the base beer. You will taste less alcohol.

Before drinking, be sure to offer a bottle of the shake!

General Inquiries:

When is this Homemade Soft Drink Moonshine?

Due to the high sugar and alcohol content of this liqueur recipe, the timeframe is almost forever. As long as you store the finished vegetable liquid in a jar or bottle that is tightly closed so that no surface environment can catch you, you should be prepared to store it at that temperature for the time being. Not that you will just be prepared not to take a sip!

Is This Recipe Really Moonshine?

Moonshine was originally a slang term for a highly resistant distilled liquor that was usually produced illegally, without government permission.

Since we don't filter the alcohol in our slow cookers, it's often not real liquor. In contrast, it is often flavored alcohols that use the highly resistant ethyl alcohol in the Everclear or vodka types. Genuine liquor remains illegal in many states in the US as well as other countries… but if you want the big things off limits, just do it instead of Everclear or vodka!

How Big is The Serving Size?

The serving size of this root-beer drink is 1 sip. one trial had no typical US size other than the state of Utah which defined the trial as 1.5 ounces. This recipe makes about 113 ounces (give or take an ounce or two). Therefore, a ready-made liqueur recipe makes about 20 shots with each 1.5-ounce shot.
